With such a detailed program, you’re likely to have a few questions. Therefore, we have created a list of frequently asked questions that are based off questions from previous conferences, which will help you find the answers as quickly as possible. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF MY REGISTRATION?
Your conference registration includes full and open access to all sessions and events. As applicable, breakfast, lunch, evening receptions and breaks are also included. Conference attendees are responsible for all expenses outside of the agenda.
ARE MEALS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?
Yes, all meals at the conference are included in your registration.
CAN I ORGANISE AN EXTENSION?
Extensions can be arranged by the event organisers. Please advise your requirements during registration and a cievents team member will contact you.
WHAT FLIGHT AM I ON?
DO I HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THE SESSIONS I WANT TO ATTEND?
Yes, you will have to register for your nominated activity.
IS WI-FI PROVIDED?
Free Wi-Fi is available in all room and main conference areas at the hotel. Wi-fi may not be provided at locations outside the hotel.
WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW ANYBODY ELSE GOING?
Then you’re perfect for the National Conference! This is a great opportunity to meet lots of new people who are working in the same industry as you. You’ll leave with lots of new connections, some of whom may be able to help you in the future. We’re all about helping, educating and supporting each other and you’ll be in great company.
HOW LONG IS THE REGISTRATION PORTAL OPEN?
Our National Conference sells out fast and we expect a sold-out event this year so don’t wait until the last minute. Register now to reserve your place.
What is the dress code during the event?
At all evening events (Welcome Event, After Party, Gala Dinner) the dress code is smart casual. It is casual attire for the conference sessions and activities. Please note that temperatures can vary during October, so we recommend you bring clothing for both warmer and colder temperatures.
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/TRANSFER SOMEONE ELSE FROM MY TEAM TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
Yes, it’s possible to transfer your registration to someone else in your team, however it needs to be done at least 60 days prior to the event, and you will be liable for any change fees that may occur. You can substitute someone else by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the new registrant's name and contact information.
WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE?
All travel and health insurance requirements and associated costs are your responsibility. We strongly recommend that you are fully insured for the duration of your travel arrangements including cover for illness, death, loss of baggage and personal items. Please contact cievents if you need assistance in organising your travel insurance.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations need to be notified to Finsure Management or cievents as soon as possible. By registering for the conference, you are acknowledging your commitment to the conference and agree that any penalties or cancellation fees incurred by Finsure will be passed on to you should you have to cancel at a later date.
Please note: all conference deposits are non-refundable. Partial refunds will not be available if you are unable to attend a conference function.
OTHER RULES AND CONDITIONS:
Your attendance at all official plenary session, functions and dinners at this conference is compulsory
Tickets to the conference cannot be converted to cash payments or any other awards or benefits to be used by a Broker if they do not attend the conference, nor can tickets be transferred for use at another time
Any confusion or dispute will be referred to Finsure Management.
